South Leicestershire Dementia Academy provides face to face support, fun engaging activities and practical workshops for people who are living with dementia in the Lutterworth area in south Leicestershire

Objects: To Support And Relieve The Needs Of People Impacted By Dementia, Particularly Those Living In South Leicestershire And Surrounding Areas, By Means Including, But Not Limited To:1) Providing Activities Designed To Help Maintain Cognitive Functioning And Social Integration And To Promote Independence At Home For As Long As Possible;2) Providing Support, Advice And Guidance To Carers, Family And Friends;3) Raising Awareness Of Issues Relating To Dementia.4) Assisting With Research Into, And Development Of, Services Relating To Dementia; And5) Working With Others To Promote Projects And Activities Which Benefit People Impacted By Dementia, Their Carers, Family And Friends.
