**Objects:** TO SUPPORT AND RELIEVE THE NEEDS OF PEOPLE IMPACTED BY DEMENTIA, PARTICULARLY THOSE LIVING IN SOUTH LEICESTERSHIRE AND SURROUNDING AREAS, BY MEANS INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO:1) PROVIDING ACTIVITIES DESIGNED TO HELP MAINTAIN COGNITIVE FUNCTIONING AND SOCIAL INTEGRATION AND TO PROMOTE INDEPENDENCE AT HOME FOR AS LONG AS POSSIBLE;2) PROVIDING SUPPORT, ADVICE AND GUIDANCE TO CARERS, FAMILY AND FRIENDS;3) RAISING AWARENESS OF ISSUES RELATING TO DEMENTIA.4) ASSISTING WITH RESEARCH INTO, AND DEVELOPMENT OF, SERVICES RELATING TO DEMENTIA; AND5) WORKING WITH OTHERS TO PROMOTE PROJECTS AND ACTIVITIES WHICH BENEFIT PEOPLE IMPACTED BY DEMENTIA, THEIR CARERS, FAMILY AND FRIENDS.

**Activities:** South Leicestershire Dementia Academy provides face to face support, fun engaging activities and practical workshops for people who are living with dementia in the Lutterworth area in south Leicestershire
