The Kelly Mine Preservation Society leases the site of Kelly Mine near Lustleigh in Devon with the aim of preserving and restoring it to approximately its condition in the 1940s. The volunteers restore the buildings and machinery associated with the mine and look after the general site to demonstrate to the public how a small Devon heamatite mine worked in the early to mid 19th century.

Objects: The Objects Of The CIO Are:to Preserve, For The Public Benefit, The Kelly Mine Site, Including But Not Limited To, Equipment Or Any Other Items Of Mining Or Local Interest.to Advance Education For The Public Benefit By The Promotion Of Knowledge And Interest In The Heritage Of The Kelly Mine Site Through Research And Organising Tours And Talks Regarding Local And Mining Related Historical Matters.
