**Activities:** The Kelly Mine Preservation Society leases the site of Kelly Mine near Lustleigh in Devon with the aim of preserving and restoring it to approximately its condition in the 1940s. The volunteers restore the buildings and machinery associated with the mine and look after the general site to demonstrate to the public how a small Devon heamatite mine worked in the early to mid 19th century.
