Volunteers look after the Meadow & Orchard gifted to the residents of the Deanesmead Est. Volunteers fundraise to cover the costs of maintenance and development of the space to create a haven for wildlife and residents.Additionally, volunteers fundraise for the Salvation Army

Objects: The Objects Of The CIO Are:1. For The Public Benefit, The Conservation, Preservation, Protection, And Improvement Of The Physical And Natural Environment, In Particular Through The Establishment And Maintenance Of A Community Orchard In Danesmead And The Surrounding Area Which Supports A Diverse And Species-Rich Ecosystem.2. To Promote For The Benefit Of The Inhabitants Of Danesmead And The Surrounding Areas The Provision Of Facilities For Recreation Or Other Leisure Time Occupation Of Individuals Who Have Need Of Such Facilities By Reason Of Their Youth, Age, Infirmity Or Disablement, Financial Hardship Or Social And Economic Circumstances Or For The Public At Large In The Interests Of Socialwelfare And With The Object Of Improving The Conditions Of Life Of The Said Inhabitants.
