FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT, THE RELIEF OF SICKNESS AND THE PRESERVATION AND PROTECTION OF HEALTH AMONGST SUFFERERS OF BLEPHAROFIMOSIS, PTOSIS AND MARCUS GUNN JAW WINKING SYNDROME BY: A) INCREASING AWARENESS BOTH AMONG THE PUBLIC AND THE MEDICAL COMMUNITY ABOUT THE COMPLEXITY AND POTENTIAL SEVERITY OF THE HEALTH CONDITIONS, SYMPTOMS AND TREATMENT OF THE HEALTH CONDITIONS. B) FUNDING TREATMENTS INCLUDING Summary of the objects of the OPERATIONS, SURGERY AND TRAVEL FOR BLEPHAROFIMOSIS charity set out in its PTOSIS AND MARCUS GUNN JAW WINKING SYNDROME; FUNDING governing document SERVICES TO PROVIDE RELIEF TO LONG TERM SUFFERERS OF THE HEALTH CONDITION SUCH AS COUNSELLING AND THERAPY. NOTHING IN THIS CONSTITUTION SHALL AUTHORISE AN APPLICATION OF THE PROPERTY OF THE CIO FOR THE PURPOSES WHICH ARE NOT CHARITABLE IN ACCORDANCE WITH SECTION 7 OF THE CHARITIES AND TRUSTEE INVESTMENT (SCOTLAND) ACT 2005 AND SECTION 2 OF THE CHARITIES ACT (NORTHERN IRELAND) 2008. THE CHARITY SUCCESSFULLY SECURED FUNDING FOR ITS OPERATIONS AND TO COVER COSTS FOR TREATMENTS. IT INCREASED AWARENESS AROUND THE CHARITY AND ITS PURPOSES THROUGH A MARKETING CAMPAIGN AND IT TRIALED TREATMENTS FOR BENEFICIARIES.
A NUMBER OF INFORMAL WEBINARS WERE HELD THAT PROVIDED INFORMATION TO FAMILIES SUFFERING WITH THE CONDITIONS BPES, PTOSIS & MARCUS GUNN.
TWO FUNDRAISING EVENTS WERE SUCCESSFULLY HELD AND RAISED FUNDS ND INCREASED AWARENESS OF THE CONDITIONS SUFFERED.
