Para 1.17 | The objects of Moorland Foodbank are the relief of financial hardship amongst people in Southern Exmoor in such ways as the Trustees from time-to-time think fit, in particular, but not exclusively by: 1. Providing emergency food, essential toiletries, and household items to individuals and families in need and/or for distribution by charities or other organisations working to prevent or relieve poverty 2. Providing grants, information and advice to individuals in need and/or charities or other organisations working to prevent or relieve food poverty, and addressing surplus food waste; 3. Undertaking and supporting research into factors that contribute to food poverty and the most appropriate ways to mitigate these; and 4. Such other means, including (but not limited to) the provision of support or signposting to relevant information and other advisory services. |
