Inhabitsnts of the Parfshes of Berk5well and Balsall Common. Proceeds from use are employed to protect the future of these a55ets and further the alms and objectives In the area of benefit. Durlngthe last year, improvements have been made to the fabric of the building a5 required. and in partlcular a significant sertton of the flat roof and underlylng structure has been replaced with material which the Trustees understand to be of sufficlent qualty to last in the region of 50 years. In addition, supported wlth a Erant from HS2, the main hall kitchen has been replaced and the Hall and Westlake Room redecorated. Large screen TVS have been installed in the maln hall and Westlake Room for use by hirers. The Trust also continuesto further its objerts by supportlng local good causes by way of donating time In the facilities free of charge. In the period under revlew. the Trust donated more than one hundred and ninety-eight hours to the Balsall Common Lion5 Club for their charitable activitiès- a value of £2053.50. and forty hours to the Balsall Common Memories Café-a value of £480.
