To record the history, qualities & strengths of the breed & research.

Objects: The Following Objects Of The Ancient Cattle Of Wales Breed Society Are For The Public Benefit: The Promotion Of Agriculture By The Encouragement, Promotion And Improvement Of The Breeding Of ‘the Ancient Cattle Of Wales Breed / Gwartheg Hynafol Cymru’ By Promoting An Agreed Breed Standard, Maintaining And Publishing A Herd Book Of Registered Pedigree Cattle And Monitoring The Upgrading Of Foundation Stock As A Breed Society; And To Advance Education In Relation To The History, Qualities And Strengths Of The Breed Known As ‘the Ancient Cattle Of Wales / Gwartheg Hynafol Cymru’, Including The Promotion And Advancement Of Research And Educational Projects In Relation To The Breed. Nothing In This Constitution Shall Authorise An Application Of The Property Of The CIO For The Purposes Which Are Not Charitable In Accordance With [section 7 Of The Charities And Trustee Investment (scotland) Act 2005] And [section 2 Of The Charities Act (northern Ireland) 2008].
