To promote equality and diversity for the public benefit and in particular the elimination of discrimination on the grounds of sexual orientation or gender identity. To deliver the annual Brecon Pride festival and programme of LGBTQIA events and activities.

Objects: The Objects Of The CIO Areto Promote Equality And Diversity For The Public Benefit And In Particular The Elimination Of Discrimination On The Grounds Of Sexual Orientation Or Gender Identity By:- Raising Awareness Of The Public With Regard To All Aspects Of Discrimination In Society And Issues And Difficulties Affecting The Lives Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, Intersex And Asexual People Plus Those Of Other Sexual Orientations, Gender Identities Or Expression, And Sex Characteristics (LGBTQIA+);- Cultivating A Sentiment In Favour Of Equality And Diversity In Particular Through Celebrating The Achievements Of LGBTQIA+ People And The Diversity Of The LGBTQIA+ Community;- Staging And Promoting LGBTQIA+ Events And In Particular An Annual LGBTQIA+ Pride Event;- Promoting Activities To Foster Understanding Between People From Diverse Backgrounds; And- Advancing Education And Raising Awareness In Equality And Diversity Whether By Teaching, Interaction, Performance Or Producing And/or Displaying Artistic And Other Materials.nothing In This Constitution Shall Authorise An Application Of The Property Of The CIO For The Purposes Which Are Not Charitable In Accordance With Section 7 Of The Charities And Trustee Investment (Scotland) Act 2005 And Section 2 Of The Charities Act (Northern Ireland) 2008.
