Activities

South Lakeland Phoenixes provides peer support services to adults experiencing mental health and wellbeing issues. Services include a Drop-In Centre and associated activities for people living in and around Grange-over-Sands and signposting based on individual needs. In addition, we plan to work with local organisations in the sector to develop policies and improve best practices.

Objects: The Object Of South Lakeland Phoenixes Is:to Preserve And Protect The Mental/emotional Health And Wellbeing Of People Residing In Grange Over Sands, Cumbria, And Its Environs Who Are Struggling With Mental/emotional Health Issues By:a) Providing A Drop-In And Befriending Service Offering Support, Understanding, Companionship, Signposting, Information, And Advocacy Services In A Safe, Confidential, And Non-Judgemental Environment.b) Raising Public Awareness Of Issues Relating To Preserving And Protecting Good Mental/emotional Health And Wellbeing By Providing Such Activities Or Information As The Trustees Deem Appropriate.
