The Royal Victoria Trust for the Blind is a small charitable grant-giving trust originally set up in 1985 following the closure of the Royal Victoria School in Newcastle upon Tyne. We fund organisations with an annual income below £500,000 per year, who work primarily for and with people with sight loss in the North East of England, North Yorkshire and Cumbria.
Objects: The Object Of The CIO Is For The Public Benefit, To Promote And Protect The Health And Welfare, And Relieve The Needs Of Blind And Sight Impaired People In The Counties Of Northumberland, Cumbria, Tyne And Wear, Durham, Tees Valley And North Yorkshire By Any Means As The Trustees In Their Discretion Shall Determine.
