The trustees present their annual report and financial statements of the charity for the period ended 4[th] April 2025. The financial statements have been prepared in accordance with the accounting policies set out in Note 2 to the Accounts, the Charities Act 2011, the Accounting and Reporting by Charities: Statement of Recommended Practice and the Financial Reporting Standard (FRS 102).

Objectives and Activities

The purpose of the charity, as set out in its governing document, is:

The charity has been set up as a CIO which will merge with an existing charity whose Trust Deed is significantly out of date. The transfer of assets required charity commission permission, which has now been granted, however, the transfer has not yet taken place. As a result, the charity has not undertaken any activities in the period. We expect the transfer to be completed in the next financial year.

The trustees have had regard to the Charity Commission guidance on public benefit.

1. Basis of Preparation

These accounts have been prepared under the historical cost convention with items recognised at cost or transaction value, with the exception of investments which are included at market value.

The accounts have been prepared in accordance with: the Statement of Recommended Practice: Accounting and Reporting by Charities preparing their accounts in accordance with the Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland (FRS 102) issued on 16 July 2014; the Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the United Kingdom and Republic of Ireland (FRS 102); and, the Charities Act 2011.
