Working with the member of public who contacted us initially being mindful of the stress and upset such incidents cause, allaying fears where possible, affording as speedy a response as possible, giving care and treatment advice when apposite, and when necessary explaining ending suffering outcomes. A major achievement has been managing the growth that our growing good reputation incurred and recruitment of new volunteers with this growth in demand expected to continue next year. Finding a wildlife casualty is a traumatic experience for members of the public, Wildlife Matters Rescues holistic approach to call outs recognises this and responds to the needs of the caller
