use of charitable resources of uniformed
youth organisations in Greater London for
the benefit of the public in particular but not
exclusively to:
a. Enable opportunities for uniformed
youth organisations within Greater
London to share ideas, information and
resources - including personnel and
facilities – to increase their individual
and collective impact.
b. Enable opportunities for co-operation,
collaboration and competition between
YOU London partner organisations at
regional, borough and local level.
c. Facilitate stakeholder engagement to
raise awareness of the positive
opportunities uniformed youth
organisations provide for young people
in London.
d. Support YOU London partner
organisations to recruit and retain young
people in Greater London.
e. Support YOU London partner
organisations to recruit and retain adult
volunteers, without which the
organisations cannot function, in
Greater London.

Para 1.18 2. The CIO was launched on 28 February 2024
when its constitution was adopted. The
seven trustees met again on 4 September
2024 and 19 February 2025. Minutes were
taken at these meetings. The trustees have
complied with duty in Section 4 of the 2006
Act to have due regard to guidance of public
benefit published by the Commission.

for the Jack Petchey Foundation
Showcase – 1 December 2024, at His
Majesty's Theatre, Haymarket.
