Achievements and performance
| Summary of the main achievements of the charity, identifying the difference the charity’s work has made to the circumstances of its beneficiaries and any wider benefits to society as a whole. |
Para 1.20 | The main achievement in this year was the Fun Day which brought together local participants as well as drawing a number of spectators from the village and surrounding areas. WiFi was installed in the Hall which made it more attractive to groups. A further achievement were the successful applications for Grant Funding related to the building which were aimed at making the Hall a more attractive venue. A local Eisteddfod was held in the Hall which benefitted residents in the area and supported practice of the Welsh language and cultural traditions. Other meetings supported local groups. |

Para 1.22 | The re is lack of clarity about the ownership of the Abergorlech Village Hall as it does not have access to the deeds of the property. Therefore the AVHC does not have responsibility for the repair of the building; the credit balance in the bank account is well in excess of the funds required to meet the AVHC’s running costs. |
