Over the past year, the charity has achieved some incredible Summary of the main outcomes, particularly through our footballled engagement work achievements of the charity with young adults from disadvantaged backgrounds, including during the year NEET individuals and asylum seekers. One of our biggest achievements has been creating a safe, welcoming, and energetic environment where young people who often feel isolated or overlooked could come together, build confidence, and develop a real sense of belonging. The sessions consistently attracted strong attendance, far more than expected, showing just how much demand there is for positive, accessible youth activities. We successfully supported a wide range of young adults who were facing challenges such as low confidence, trauma, housing instability, language barriers, or social isolation. Through regular participation, many began to show clear improvements in their physical and mental wellbeing — becoming more active, more sociable, and more open to engaging in support beyond football. A number of NEET young people also used the programme as a stepping stone back into routine, helping them re-engage with education, training, volunteering, or workrelated opportunities. Several participants also grew into informal leadership roles, supporting new members and helping to shape a positive culture within the group. Another key achievement was the way the programme strengthened community cohesion. By bringing together young adults from very different backgrounds, cultures, and life experiences, the sessions created a shared space based on teamwork, respect, and inclusion. We also successfully delivered sessions in local community facilities, contributing to safer and more vibrant public spaces. Throughout the year, we built strong relationships with local partners, strengthening referral pathways and creating a more joinedup support network for vulnerable young people.

Finally, an important achievement — though unintended — was the strong emotional connection young people developed with the programme. For many, football became more than just an activity: it became a vital part of their weekly routine and a key source of stability, friendship, and positive mental health. This reinforced the importance of our work and highlighted the real, lasting difference the charity is making in the lives of young adults who need it most.

Respective The charity's trustees are responsible for the preparation of the accounts. responsibilities of The charity’s trustees consider that an audit is not required for this year trustees and examiner under section 144 of the Charities Act 2011 (the Charities Act) and that an independent examination is needed. It is my responsibility to:

examine the accounts under section 145 of the Charities Act,
to follow the procedures laid down in the general Directions given by the Charity Commission (under section 145(5)(b) of the Charities Act, and
• to state whether particular matters have come to my attention.
Basis of independent My examination was carried out in accordance with general Directions given examiner’s statement by the Charity Commission. An examination includes a review of the accounting records kept by the charity and a comparison of the accounts presented with those records. It also includes consideration of any unusual items or disclosures in the accounts, and seeking explanations from the trustees concerning any such matters. The procedures undertaken do not provide all the evidence that would be required in an audit, and consequently no opinion is given as to whether the accounts present a ‘true and fair’ view and the report is limited to those matters set out in the statement below.

Independent In connection with my examination, no material matters have come to my examiner's statement attention which gives me cause to believe that in, any material respect,:

the accounting records were not kept in accordance with section 130 of the Charities Act; or
the accounts did not accord with the accounting records; or
• the accounts did not comply with the applicable requirements concerning the form and content of accounts set out in the Charities (Accounts and Reports) Regulations 2008 other than any requirement that the accounts give a ‘true and fair’ view which is not a matter considered as part of an independent examination.

I have come across no other matters in connection with the examination to which attention should be drawn in this report in order to enable a proper understanding of the accounts to be reached.
