1. Structure, Governance & Management CLIP- Community Led Inclusion Partnership is governed by its constitution, which sets out the charity's objectives and operating principles. The charity is managed by a board of trustees who have overall responsibility for strategic direction, compliance, and financial oversight. Trustees are appointed in accordance with the governing document. New trustees are recruited based on their skills and experience to ensure a balanced and effective board. All trustees receive an induction covering their legal duties, the charity's policies, and safeguarding responsibilities. Regular meetings are held to review performance, approve budgets, and monitor risks. Day-to-day operations are delegated to staff and volunteers, under the guidance of the trustees, ensuring that activities align with the charitys mission and values.

Objectives & Activities To promote social inclusion for the public benefit by working with people in Hartlepool and surrounding areas who are socially excluded on the grounds of disability andlor ill health (physical or mental), relieving the needs of such people and assisting them to integrate into society, in particular by.. Providin% a local network group that encourages and enables members of the disabled community to participate more effectively with the wider community. Increasing or co-ordinating, opportunities for members of the disabled community to engage with service providers, enabling those providers to adapt services to better meet the needs of that community.

Artivities during the year included.. Organising accessible activities for our members to attend. Working with other voluntary sector organisations across Hartlepool to deliver meaningful community activities. Running peer support groups to reduce isolation and share experiences. Delivering literacy groups to improve skills and confidence. Hosting community engagement events to strengthen inclusion and awareness. Working with local stake holders to improve the lives of people living with long term conditions and disabilities 5. Achievements & Performance During the year, CLIP- Community Led Inclusion Partnership made significant progress toward its objectives of promoting social inclusion and equality for people with disabilities and long-tenn health conditions. Key Achievements.. Expanded Accessible Activities.. Delivered a wide range of inclusive eveTJts and activities. ensuring members could participate fully in community life. Strengthened Partnerships: Worked closely with other voluntary sector organisations across Hartlepool to 10-host meaningful activities and improve service coordination. Peer Support Networks.. Established regular peer support groups. providing safe spaces for members to share experiences and reduce isolation. Literacy and Skills Development.. Introduced literacy groups to enhance confidence and communication skills among participants. Community Engagement.. Challenges- Funding Constraints.. Securing sustainable funding remained a challenge, impacting the ability to expand services. Accessibility Barriers.. Continued efforts were needed to address physical and digital accessibility in some community venues. Despite these challenges, CLIP successfully delivered impactful programs that improved well-bein& reduced isolation, and promoted equality within the Hartlepool community. 6. Financial Review Total income.. £ 38,480 Total expenditure.. £24,693 Reserves policy.. The trustees aim to hold reserves equivalent to 3 months expenditure. In the currentyear this would amount to £6.173. Free reserves at year-end were £8,922 which is above targeL 7. Plans for the Future In the coming year. CLIP - Community Led Inclusion Partnership aims to build on its successes and address ongoing challenges by focusing on the following goals: Expand Accessible Activities.. Increase the range and frequency of inclusive events. ensuring more opportunities for social engagement and skill developmenL Strengthen Partnerships- Work closely with local authorities, healthcare providers, and voluntary sector organisations to deliver coordinated support and improve service accessibility- Digital Inclusion.. Develop online resources and virtual support groups to reach individuals who face mobility or transport barriers. Volunteer Development.. Advocacy and Awareness.. Launch campaigns to promote equality, challenge discrimination, and raise awareness of the needs of people with disabilities and long-term conditions. Sustainable Funding.. Secure new funding streams and grants to ensure long- term stability and growth of services. Research and Collaboration CLIP- Community Led Inclusion Partnership is committed to contributing to and supporting research that advances understanding of disability and inclusion. We believe that evidence-based approaches are essential For creating meaningFul change in our community. During the year. we have continued to work with organisations and academic institutions engaged in research projects focused on improving accessibility, reducing barriers, and promoting equality for people living with disabilities and long-term conditions. These collaborations allow us to share real-life experiences from our members, ensuring that research outcomes reflect the needs and priorities ofthose most affected. Looking ahead, we airn to Strengthen these partnerships and actively participate in studies that inform policy, service design, and inclusive practices across Hartlepool and beyond. These plans will help CLIP continue its mission of promoting inclusion, reducing isolation. and improving quality of life for the disabled community in Hartlepool and surrounding areas. 1. Risk Management CLIP- Community Led Inclusion Partnership recognises that effective risk management is essential to ensure the safety, sustainability, and success of our activities. The major risks identified during the year, and our mitigation strategies include- l. Financial Sustainability Risk.- Insufficient funding to maintain services. Mitigation.- Diversifying income streams through grant applications, fundraising events, and partnership opportunities.
2. Safeguarding and Compliance Risk.- Potential harm to vulnerable beneficiaries or failure to meet legal obligations. Mitigation.- Regular safeguarding training for staff and volunteers, robust policies, and annual compliance reviews.
3. Operational Risks Risk.- Disruption to services due to staff or volunteer shortages. Mitigation.- Building a strong volunteer base, cross-training team members, and maintaining contingency plans.
4. Health & Safety Risk.- Accidents during activities or events. Mitigation.. Risk assessments for all activities. ensuring venues are accessible and safe, and providing appropriate equipment.
