The organisation operates under a set of approved policies and procedures covering areas such as safeguarding, financial management, and data protection. New trustees receive induction packs and training to ensure that they understand their legal duties and the charity’s objectives. We maintain a clear organisational structure with defined roles and responsibilities, and we regularly review our governance arrangements. The trustees actively consider major risks to the charity’s operations and have systems in place to manage and mitigate these risks.

The aims and objectives of the charity are to support young people in Education and Sport. We provide grants to individuals and groups that, otherwise, financially would not be able to progress or achieve their goals/ potential.

RR81 operates a formal grant-making policy, Applications for grants are submitted by eligible organisations and/or individuals and are reviewed quarterly at trustees’ meetings. Each application is assessed against the charity’s objectives, and a vote is taken to determine whether the grant is awarded.
Volunteers have contributed to our activities over the financial year and their continued support is greatly appreciated.

The trustees have reviewed the charity’s financial performance during the year and are satisfied that income and expenditure have been managed in line with the organisations objectives. We continue to operate within our means, with appropriate controls in place to monitor budgets and cash flow. No financial risks have been identified, and the trustees remain confident in the charity’s ability to meet its commitments and sustain its activities in the coming year.
