Objectives and Activities

Para 1.17 and 1.19	The first year of the charity has been spent attempting to effect a transfer of the field from Bucks School Camp Association(BSCA) to The Haven (IOW) in order to begin to fulfil our charitable objectives and provide public benefit. Legal fees have been incurred as reflected in the accounts. A process of aligning charitable objectives with BSCA was commenced.

Our proposed trustees have also familiarized themselves with the guidance on their roles and responsibilities, as outlined in CC3 and CC27, and are committed to fulfilling their legal duties in the governance and management of the CIO.

Achievements and Performance

Summary of the main achievements of the charity, identifying the difference the charity’s work has made to the circumstances of its beneficiaries and any wider benefits to society as a whole.	Para 1.20	We have been unable to get our plans underway in the first year, as we do not yet have ownership of the land. However, a number of very helpful meetings have taken place with interested parties who will support the project in different ways, once we have the field in our possession. An outdoor table tennis board has been donated and is stored, with permission of BSCA, in a shed the field, ready for use.
