UMission UK is a non-profit humanitarian organisation dedicated to providing aid and support in both crisis and non-crisis situations. We serve the poor and needy, orphans, widows, and the destitute — irrespective of race, religion, culture, or creed — with compassion, dignity, and hope. During the reporting year, UMission UK has continued to make a meaningful difference in the lives of vulnerable individuals and communities, both in crisis and non-crisis situations. Guided by our mission, we provided humanitarian relief and long- term support to orphans, widows, the poor, and the destitute, irrespective of race, religion, culture, or creed. Key Achievements • Relief of Poverty and Hardship: Provided essential support and assistance to individuals and families facing economic hardship and natural disasters. • Health and Well-being: Supported access to healthcare and promoted initiatives that improve overall health and well-being. • Education and Skills Development: Assisted children and adults from disadvantaged backgrounds with educational resources, guidance, and opportunities to develop skills for the future. Review of the Charity’s Financial Position At the end of the reporting period, UMission UK’s financial position remains stable, with resources applied effectively to further the charity’s objectives. The trustees have reviewed the charity’s income, expenditure, assets, and liabilities and are satisfied that the charity has adequate resources to continue its activities in line with its mission. Income and Funding The charity’s activities have been funded through voluntary donations, grants, and other charitable contributions. Income has been used to directly support humanitarian aid, health initiatives, and educational programs for the poor and needy.

Expenditure Expenditure has been carefully managed to ensure that the majority of funds are directed toward charitable activities, with only a minimal proportion used for administrative and governance costs. This approach ensures maximum benefit is delivered to the beneficiaries. Reserves The trustees have assessed the charity’s reserves and consider them sufficient to meet current and anticipated commitments, including ongoing projects and unforeseen emergencies. The reserves policy is reviewed regularly to maintain financial stability and sustainability. Policies and procedures adopted for the induction and training of trustees	UMission UK has adopted clear policies and procedures to ensure that trustees are properly inducted into their role and provided with ongoing training to support effective governance. • Induction of New Trustees

o New trustees receive an induction pack, which includes the charity’s governing document, recent annual reports and accounts, the Charity Commission’s_The Essential Trustee_ guidance, and relevant internal policies. o They are introduced to the charity’s operations, key activities, and current projects, as well as their legal duties and responsibilities as trustees. o Where appropriate, new trustees are paired with an experienced trustee to provide mentorship and support during their initial period of service. • Ongoing Training and Development o Trustees are encouraged to attend external training sessions and Charity Commission webinars to stay informed on charity law, governance, safeguarding, and financial oversight. o The board regularly reviews skills and training needs to ensure trustees collectively have the knowledge required to guide the charity effectively. o Internal briefings are provided on new legislation, regulatory updates, and emerging risks relevant to the charity’s activities. The trustees are committed to maintaining high standards of governance by ensuring that all members of the board are equipped with the knowledge and skills necessary to fulfil their responsibilities and contribute to the success of UMission UK.

UMission UK is governed by a Board of Trustees who are responsible for setting the charity’s strategic direction, ensuring good governance, and overseeing the effective use of resources. The trustees delegate the day-to-day management and delivery of activities to staff members and volunteers, while retaining overall responsibility for compliance with the charity’s objectives and regulatory requirements. The organisational structure is designed to ensure accountability and efficiency: • Board of Trustees – Provides governance, oversight, and decision-making in line with the charity’s constitution and Charity Commission guidance. • Management and Staff – Responsible for implementing the strategic plans set by the trustees, managing projects, and coordinating day-to-day operations. • Volunteers – Support the delivery of humanitarian aid, fundraising, awareness campaigns, and community outreach.

UMission UK works independently but also collaborates with a wider network of partners, including local community groups, other charitable organisations, and humanitarian aid providers. Where appropriate, the charity works in partnership with international NGOs, local authorities, and relief agencies to maximise impact and ensure that resources are used effectively to meet the needs of beneficiaries. Note 1 Basis of preparation

1.1 Basis of accounting

These accounts have been prepared on the basis of historic cost (except that investments are shown at market value) in accordance with:

• Accounting and Reporting by Charities – Statement of Recommended Practice (SORP 2005);

• and with*  Accounting Standards; or Financial Reporting Standards for Smaller Enterprises (FRSSE);

• and with the Charities Act.

Income

Income is accounted for on a receipts basis.

Resources expended

Resources expended are accounted for as the liability is incurred. Expenditure includes irrecoverable VAT which is reported as part of the expenditure to which it relates.
