Objectives and Activities
To advance in life and help young people aged from 11-18 living in Uckfield and the surrounding villages through:
-
a. The provision of recreational and leisure time activities provided in the interest of social welfare, designed to improve their conditions of life;
-
b. Providing support and activities which develop their skills, capacities, and capabilities to enable them to participate in society as mature and responsible individuals.
Achievements and Performance
During the reporting year, Uckfield Youth Trust has:

Supported over 30 young people
-
Delivered workshops of Graffiti and art, Learning how to DJ, sports activities, group games and computer games.

Received positive feedback from service users, with parent’s feedback including boosting confidence, independence and social skills in their children.
Financial Review
The charity’s income for the year was £9901.40 primarily from grants and donations. Expenditure totalled £6620.47 with the majority allocated to rent and training.
Reserves are maintained at a level sufficient to ensure sustainability, with a policy to hold at least 6 months of operating costs.

Plans for the Future
In the coming year, Uckfield Youth Trust aims to:

Secure additional funding to support programme growth.

Strengthen partnerships with local schools and community groups.

Continue to look for more volunteers and or extra staff
