Running an amateur concert band, presenting public concerts, participating in community events,providing playing opportunities for members and non-members, developing the skills of musicians, and byimproving public appreciation through presentation of public concerts, many of which are free.
Objects: The Objects Of The CIO Are To Advance, Improve, Develop And Maintain Public Education In, And Appreciation Of, The Art And Science Of Music In All Its Aspects By Any Means The Trustees See Fit, Including Through The Presentation Of Public Concerts And Through Participation In Community Events. Nothing In This Constitution Shall Authorise An Application Of The Property Of The CIO For The Purposes Which Are Not Charitable.
