To advance the Islamic faith for public benefit thmugh holding a series of events that include (but are not limited tol open days, classes, prayer meetings, lectures, public celebration religious festivals, producing andlor distribution of literature. 2. The advancement of educ2tion concerning the teachings and practice5 of 151am covering all key stage groups and Arabic langLJage. 3. To promote community participation in heathy recreation by providing facilities and coaching for football. netball. roLJnders, basketball, swimming, hockey, tennis and badminton. Our Vision Empowering hearts and minds, through education and sports, developing leaders dedicated to creating a brighter future for everyone. We are delighted to have been awarded two grants from North Yorkshire Council in order for us to be able to run a pilot of community swimming for women and men's health and wellbeing project. 4. We would like to Bcknowledge the sUPPOrt of Archery GB, through their Project Rimaya (the Arabic word for archery), in partnering with Al Haadiyah Harrogate. 5. We are delighted to have been awarded a grant from North Yorkshire Council's allocation of the UK Shared Prosperity Fund, delivered iri partnership with North Yorkshire Sports. 6. Accounting Policies The principal accounting policies adopted by the Charity, which is 3 public benefit entity, in the preparation of the accounts are as follows. 1.1 Basls of preparatlon These accounts have been prepared under the historical cost convention, as modified by the inclusion of charitable properties and lixed asset investments and investment properties at valuation. These accounts have been prepared in accordance with 'Accounting and Reporting by Charities..
