1. Structure, Governance and Management

Refugee Support Hub is registered as a Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO). The trustees are responsible for ensuring the charity operates in accordance with its constitution and complies with all statutory requirements.

2. Objectives and Activities

The objects of the CIO are for the public benefit, to provide relief to refugees, asylum seekers and displaced people in the UK by to help them resettle by operating Welcome Hubs providing support services to help with their education, language skills or employability/ housing/ mental health needs, so as to advance them in life and assist them with the adaption within a new community, with the objects of: -

  1. Preserving and protecting the physical and mental health of refugees, asylum seekers and displaced people in the UK.

  2. Advancing their education and training.

  3. Relieving them from financial hardship and unemployment.

These aims are intended to be achieved through services such as welcome hubs, integration support, education and language assistance, employability guidance, housing support, and mental health support programmes.

3. Activities During the Reporting Period

During the period 05/02/2024 – 31/03/2025, the charity did not formally operate, and no structured charitable activities were undertaken.

Although the charity remained legally registered, it did not yet commence service delivery, fundraising, grant-making or operational programmes. The trustees focused on administrative setup and compliance processes required for future activity.
