Para 1.20 Stenalees Bowling Club had a positive year
in 2024/25 on and off the bowls green.
The clubs membership numbers increased,
primarily through the club holding weekly
open events for anyone to come and try
bowls which proved very successful.
The club also continued its facilities
improvement ambitions to extend the size of
the bowls green and also to erect a new
clubhouse both of which will bring increased
benefits to the surrounding communities.
All members benefited from many games
which continues to contribute to both
physical and mental health alongside
providing broader benefits to individuals and
the broader community through increased
engagement.
The club also increased its fundraising
efforts with the introduction of bingo nights
and a new club draw with the funds raised
going towards the clubs improvement plans.
