Activities
The Frederick Foundation has two main aims. The first is to improve outcomes for stroke sufferers in Nigeria, initially at University College Hospital, Ibadan, and eventually to support prevention and rehabilitation as well. The second is to create an academic link between the medical school at Ibadan and the medical school at Oxford University, UK, for the purposes of education and research.
Objects: 1.1 The Objects Of The CIO Are For The Public Benefit To Advance Health, And Prevent And Relieve Sickness And Disease, Through The Provision Of Financial And Other Assistance To:1.1.1 Build, Develop Or Improve, Medical, Care Or Educational Facilities;1.1.2 Support The Creation And Dissemination Of Resources, Research, Advice And Guidance; And1.1.3 Advance The Education And Practice Of Students, Medical Practitioners, Paramedical Practitioners, Allied Professionals And Research Scientists In Clinic Neuroscience;in Each Case Relating To Stroke Or Other Neurodegenerative Conditions Primarily In The UK And Nigeria.
