**Activities:** The Frederick Foundation has two main aims. The first is to improve outcomes for stroke sufferers in Nigeria, initially at University College Hospital, Ibadan, and eventually to support prevention and rehabilitation as well. The second is to create an academic link between the medical school at Ibadan and the medical school at Oxford University, UK, for the purposes of education and research.
