Para 1.17 | Our charitable purpose is: • To develop effective relationships between staff, parents and others associated with the school including the local community of Rhydri and the surrounding areas as part of a community focussed school. • To engage in activities which support and promote the school and to provide facilities or equipment to support the school and advance the education of the pupils while enhancing a community focussed school approach. |

• Fundraising for community events to benefit the local community such as the Village hall dance night, Christmas wreath workshop and Christmas Fayre, and Sound Bath Journeys, after school club and the famous bottle hoopla. • Set up a community run after school club to support parents and children, the Rhydri Rascals, in Rudry Village Hall • Supported the Year 6 leavers party and leavers assembly • Paid for the transport for a whole school trip to Noah’s Ark and trips to Llancaiach Fawr, Colliers Farm. • Organised goal posts for the village hall • Paid for Easter Eggs and selection boxes for the whole school • Organised a whole school disco,freezy |
