Our main charitable activities have been to prepare us for future delivery, and includes: - Recruiting two additional Trustees to ensure we have a board of at least five, as per the good practice stated in the Charity Governance Code. - Continued to strengthen the charity’s governance arrangements, by reviewing our meeting structure, governance policies, induction of new trustees, and clarifying roles and responsibilities. - Developed a reserves policy. - Explored new relationships within local networks, funders and with stakeholders to raise awareness of the charity in the area we serve. - Applied for our first grants for the CIO and are awaiting the outcomes in March 2026. -Recruited volunteers to have a workforce |
| ready to offer capacity to future delivery. - Continued to monitor community need within the general public, to inform our planning of future activities. - Held Trustee planning days to co-design future programmes, that also included developing transparent criteria for our future ‘Enabling Fund’ as part of our charitable activities and purpose. |
