Ages 9-11: students planned and updated the bodywork on their race car. This involved sketching out ideas, discussing them as a team and arriving at a decision together. They then cut the shapes of the design out of vinyl and attached this to the bodywork. They then raced the car at several events demonstrating teamwork, resilience when things didn't go to plan and even helping trouble shoot other teams issues and advising them of solution using their own experience.
Summary of the main activities undertaken for the public benefit in relation to these objects (include within this section the statutory declaration that trustees have had regard to the guidance issued by the Charity Commission on public benefit)
Ages 11-16: students worked on various projects to improve their race car including using computer aided design (CAD) skills, prototyping, 3D printing, using hand and power tools in the workshop, electronics and coding.
