Objectives and Activities

1) To provide relief to those in need due to fnding themselves homeless within Wales in particular by: a) Providing safe and secure accommodation. b) Assisting with integration of those in need back into the community and independent living. c) Providing clothing, sleeping bags and other essential items to those who have been sleeping rough/on the streets. 2) The relief of sickness of those whose mental health has been afected due to the trauma of homelessness by the provision of counselling and other therapies of proven beneft. 3) The relief of poverty or fnancial hardship by the provision of a food bank that is accessible by those who are vulnerable due to ill health, poverty, fnancial hardship and other such means as defned by the trustees. |

The CIO has formed a positive relationship with the local Cricket Club, who have donated a space specifcally for the food bank for free. |

The CIO fnished the year in a strong position. Heading into the busiest period for the food bank, winter and the fnancial restraints of Christmas, there was a healthy sum available to trustees, before anyfurther donations were received. |

There are no fnancial concerns regarding the charity’s continuation and reserves remain healthy. However, the Criddle family have just lost Paul Criddle, a trustee and James’ father. Paul was not only a trustee but one of the key volunteers and very much at the heart of the charity. This loss to the charity may see the charity scale back any progressionplans for aperiod of time. |
