Activities
Provide services and activities for women of all ages, engaging them in matters such as domestic violence, parenting skills, relationships, separation, loss, isolation and mental health. Empower women who may be victims of abuse. Provide services and activities that will empower and support young people between 15 - 25years, by allowing them to shape the direction of individual and group goals.
Objects: The Object Of The CIO Are:-To Preserve And Protect The Physical And Mental Health Of Women And Children And Young People Subjected To Domestic Violence Or Trauma, Through The Provision Of A Safe Haven To Provide Advice, Information And Support Via Counselling, Signposting, Community Activities And Services; Andto Advance In Life And Relieve Needs Of Young People Aged 15 To 21 Through:(a) The Provision Of Recreational And Leisure Time Activities Provided In The Interest Of Social Welfare, Designed To Improve Their Conditions Of Life; And(b) Providing Support And Activities Which Develop Their Skills, Capacities And Capabilities To Enable Them To Participate In Society As Mature And Responsible Individuals.nothing In This Constitution Shall Authorise An Application Of The Property Of The CIO For The Purposes Which Are Not Charitable In Accordance With [section 7 Of The Charities And Trustee Investment (scotland) Act 2005] And [section 2 Of The Charities Act (northern Ireland) 2008].
