Achievements and Performance

SORP reference
Summary of the main
achievements of the charity,
identifying the difference the
charity’s work has made to
the circumstances of its
beneficiaries and any wider
benefits to society as a
whole.
Para 1.20 In the first year of charity formation most
efforts were devoted to the charity setting
up and preparation for the charity founder’s
Leo’s Rowing event across the Atlantic,
which was main fundraising event. We
have worked on the media campaigns,
web-site and fundraising, and raising
awareness to the needs of the medics and
healthcare in Ukraine.
We have most certainly attracted the
attention of the media, had support from
the healthcare industry, but most
importantly had immense support from our
healthcare colleagues across the UK.
Leo already established good contacts in
Ukraine through his personal charitable
efforts prior to establishing the charity. We
are certainly building on that foundation.
