Objects: The Objects Of The CIO Are To: (A) Advance Such Charitable Purposes (According To The Law Of England And Wales) As The Trustees See Fit From Time To Time In Particular But Not Limited To Promoting And Supporting By Way Of The Making Of Grants Of Money And Otherwise Such Charitable Purpose Or Purposes And Such Charitable Organisations (Being Purposes And Organisations Which Are Exclusively Charitable According To The Laws Of England And Wales) As The Trustees Of The CIO Shall From Time To Time Decide Providing That The Grants And Other Forms Of Assistance Shall Be Made In Particular But Not Exclusively To Organisations Operating From And Individuals Resident In The City Of Kingston Upon Hull Or The East Riding Of Yorkshire Local Authority Areas; And (B) Provide Assistance As A Means Of The Establishment In Life Of Young People In The United Kingdom, (Meaning England, Wales, Scotland And Northern Ireland) In Particular By Making Grants For The Provision Of Tools Of Trade, Equipment, Materials And Vocational Training Where Such Persons Are Wishing To Enter A Graphic Design Or Visual Arts Related Profession.
