Trustees’ Annual Report

Introduction

On behalf of the trustees of New Flame, we are pleased to present the Annual Report and Accounts for the year ending 1 October 2024. This report outlines the charity's activities, structure, and financial information for the period. For 2024, the charity recorded no income or expenditure.

Charity Information

Governing Document

New Flame is constituted by a trust constitution dated 17/11/23. Its objects and powers are set out in the governing document.

Charitable Objectives

The charity’s principal aim is the advancement of the Christian religion for the public benefit in particular but not exclusively around the world where Christianity is in the minority through the provision of religious services, evangelism, outreach and pastoral care.

Structure, Governance and Management

Activities and Achievements

During the year ending 1 October 2024, New Flame did not undertake any projects, activities, or fundraising initiatives mainly due to extended time for operational setup. The charity only obtained banking facilities in June 2024 from

beginning applications in November 2023. Research took place for international locations to work from and this was not established within this period and had no financial cost to the charity. As a result, no income was generated, and no expenditure recorded. The trustees have, however, continued to monitor the charity’s compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements and remained vigilant for opportunities to further the charity’s aims.

Future Plans

The trustees remain committed to the charity’s objectives and intend to seek appropriate funding and opportunities in the year ahead. The charity’s governance arrangements and readiness to act remain in place.

Financial Review

The trustees confirm the charity has remained dormant throughout the reporting period.

Principal Risks and Uncertainties

As the charity was dormant and had no financial activities during the period, the trustees did not identify any significant risks. Nevertheless, they remain mindful of potential risks to compliance, governance, and future activity.

Reserves Policy

No reserves were held or required in the period under review as the charity was dormant. The trustees will review the reserves policy should the charity become active in the future.
