## Introduction 

On behalf of the trustees of New Flame, we are pleased to present the Annual Report and Accounts for the year ending 1 October 2024. This report outlines the charity's activities, structure, and financial information for the period. For 2024, the charity recorded no income or expenditure.

## Governing Document 

New Flame is constituted by a trust constitution dated 17/11/23. Its objects and powers are set out in the governing document. 

## Charitable Objectives 

The charity’s principal aim is the advancement of the Christian religion for the public benefit in particular but not exclusively around the world where Christianity is in the minority through the provision of religious services, evangelism, outreach and pastoral care. 

## Structure, Governance and Management 

- Trustee Selection and Induction: Trustees are appointed in accordance with the governing document. New trustees receive an induction and are provided with key charity documents and guidance from the Charity Commission. 

- Decision-Making: The trustees meet as required to review and direct the charity’s activities and ensure compliance with statutory obligations. 

## Activities and Achievements 

During the year ending 1 October 2024, New Flame did not undertake any projects, activities, or fundraising initiatives mainly due to extended time for operational setup.  The charity only obtained banking facilities in June 2024 from 



beginning applications in November 2023. Research took place for international locations to work from and this was not established within this period and had no financial cost to the charity. As a result, no income was generated, and no expenditure recorded. The trustees have, however, continued to monitor the charity’s compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements and remained vigilant for opportunities to further the charity’s aims. 

## Future Plans 

The trustees remain committed to the charity’s objectives and intend to seek appropriate funding and opportunities in the year ahead. The charity’s governance arrangements and readiness to act remain in place. 

## Financial Review 

- No income was received during the year ending 1 October2024. 

- No expenditure was incurred during the year ending 1 October 2024. 

- The charity had no assets or liabilities at the start or end of the year. 

- No reserves are held. 

The trustees confirm the charity has remained dormant throughout the reporting period. 

## Principal Risks and Uncertainties 

As the charity was dormant and had no financial activities during the period, the trustees did not identify any significant risks. Nevertheless, they remain mindful of potential risks to compliance, governance, and future activity. 

## Reserves Policy 

No reserves were held or required in the period under review as the charity was dormant. The trustees will review the reserves policy should the charity become active in the future.

## Trustees’ Responsibilities Statement 

The trustees are responsible for preparing the Trustees’ Annual Report and the financial statements in accordance with applicable law and United Kingdom Accounting Standards. Charity law requires the trustees to prepare accounts for each financial year which give a true and fair view of the state of affairs of the charity and of its incoming resources and application of resources. 

The trustees are responsible for keeping proper accounting records, safeguarding the assets of the charity, and taking reasonable steps for the prevention and detection of fraud and other irregularities.

## Notes to the Accounts 

## 1. Accounting Policies 

The accounts have been prepared on a receipts and payments basis, in accordance with the Charities Act 2011 and in compliance with the Charity Commission’s guidance. 

## 2. Income 

No income was received in the year ending 1 October 2024. 

## 3. Expenditure 

No expenditure was incurred in the year ending 1 October 2024. 

## 4. Assets and Liabilities 

The charity held no assets or liabilities at the beginning or end of the reporting period. 

## 5. Trustees’ Remuneration and Expenses 

No trustees received remuneration or reimbursement of expenses during the period. 

## 6. Related Party Transactions 

There were no related party transactions during the reporting period. 

## 7. Post Year-End Events 

No post balance sheet events have occurred which require disclosure. 



## 8. Independent Examiner’s Report 

As the charity had no income or expenditure, no independent examination was required for the financial period ending 1 October 2024. 

## Conclusion 

The trustees are satisfied that the charity has fulfilled its legal requirements for the reporting period despite being dormant. The charity remains fully constituted and capable of pursuing its objectives when circumstances allow.
