ANNUAL REPORT OF THE TRUSTEES FINANCIAL YEAR TO 30 JUNE 2025
Rotary Club of Titsey and District Charitable Incorporated Organisation ("CIO") was registered with the Charity Commission of England and Wales on 2nd November 2023. The Trustees are the President, the Secretary the Treasurer and the President-elect for the time being and a nominated member of the Rotary Club of Titsey & District. For the financial year under review the Trustees were:

The main object of the CIO is "….. the relief of the poor and needy in Oxted or any other part of the United Kingdom or elsewhere in the world, or such other charitable purposes as the Rotary Club of Titsey & District shall in duly constituted meeting direct.”
During the financial year ended 30 June 2025 the club undertook fund raising events and collections which after expenses raised £19,002 as shown on page 5. These funds together with existing funds enabled us to make donations to local, national and international concerns totalling £23,928. Major donations included £1,700 to Master Park Pavillion Appeal, £1,710 to Clockwork, £1,320 to RYLA, £1,026 to the Hurst Green Community Centre and £1,000 to each of Smile Train, End Polio Now and Rotary Foundation UK. All donations are listed on pages 6 to 7.
The summary of activities and successes during the year as attached show how the trustees have paid due regard to the Charity Commission guidance on public benefit.
The Trustees policy on reserves is that funds raised are distributed as soo to beneficiaries. Reserves are held to enable Trustees to make charitable short notice.
The Trustees have reviewed the major risks to which the charity is expose established systems to mitigage such risks.
The CIO holds no restricted funds and has received no endowment funds.
The CIO has no debt and has provided no guarantees.
No remuneration or benefits have been paid to any trustee.
The Rotary Club of Titsey & District resolved at a meeting held on 17 July 2024 to the Rotary Club of Titsey & District Trust and instructed the Trust to transfer its rem funds totalling £5,461 to the Rotary Club of Titsey & District Charitable Incorporate Organisation which has the same objectives as the Trust.

INDEPENDENT EXAMINER'S REPORT TO THE TRUSTEES OF THE ROTARY CLUB OF TITSEY & DISTRICT CHARITABLE INCORPORATED ORGANISATION

I report to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of the Rotary Club of Titsey & District Charitable Incorporated Organisation for the financial year ended 30 June 2025 which are set out on pages 4 to 7.
Responsibilities and basis of my report
As the charity trustees of the CIO you are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 ( "the Act").
I report in respect of my examination of the CIO's accounts carried out under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination I have followed all the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act.
Independent examiner's statement
I have completed my examination. I confirm that no material matters have come to my attention in connection with the examination giving me cause to believe that in any material respect:
- accounting records were not kept in respect of the CIO as required by section 130 of the Act;
or
- the accounts do not accord with those records.
I have no concerns and have come across no other matters in connection with the examination to which attention should be drawn in this report in order to enable a proper understanding of the accounts to be reached.
