We reflected remembering whèrè wa started th a small monthw support group ￿1h 4 volunleors, lo moving into pem)anenl premises in 2016 wlth 10 volun188ra and organically growing ovèr tha wmalnlng years lo now the busy centre supporting around 10Q)+ people a week, with the support ol now 73 volunteers. Childrgn and Young People Over the past 12 months we have been ablè to suppc)rt an increasing number for children and young people from 5 to 25 years old affeEled by cancer. The support has ranged from accessing our F2miFy and Youth Sessions to 121 within the community, schools, colleges and universities. Through discussing the tr6alrH8nl that their loved one is receiving, advocating their needs and support, building the gaps In communication, pmvtding practic21 coping skills, signpostinu and Ilgt8ning and ensuring that they can continue to thrive during an extremely difficult time for them.
