support network and enable sharing of skills,
experience and knowledge; 2) improving access
to cultural, sportng, musical and other learning
opportunites for children and young people

capabilites and enable them to partcipate in
society as mature and responsible individuals;
3) providing the opportunity for children and
young people to meet in order to develop
social networks,friendships and apeergroup.

Para 1.20 PLANT has been successful in running
a regular support network for home
educated families in Conwy and the
surrounding areas. Grant applications in
23/4 have been successful to offer a
number of sporting activities at low cost
for local families, along with increasing
the sporting and STEM equipment
available at the group. This has ensured
that all home educated families have the
opportunity to access high quality
educational equipment. The grants have
also ensured that PLANT has been
accessible to all families regardless of
their financial situation.
