Objects: The Object Of The CIO Is: To Advance The Education For The Public Benefit Of Home Educated Children And Young People In Wales By The Provision Of Services, Resources, Facilities, Support And Information For Both Them And Their Parents/guardians/carers, In Particular But Not Exclusively By:1) Providing The Opportunity For Parents, Guardians And Carers To Meet In Order To Develop A Mutual Support Network And Enable Sharing Of Skills, Experience And Knowledge;2) Improving Access To Cultural, Sporting, Musical And Other Learning Opportunities For Children And Young People Designed To Develop Their Skills, Capacities And Capabilities And Enable Them To Participate In Society As Mature And Responsible Individuals;3) Providing The Opportunity For Children And Young People To Meet In Order To Develop Social Networks, Friendships And A Peer Group.
