Para 1.17 | The object of the cio is: to advance the educaton for the public beneft of home educated children and young people in wales by the provision of services, resources, facilites, support and informaton for both them and their parents/guardians/carers, in partcular but not exclusively by: 1) providing the opportunity for parents, guardians and carers to meet in order to develop a mutual support network and enable sharing of skills, experience and knowledge; 2) improving access to cultural, sportng, musical and other learning opportunites for children and young people designed to develop their skills, capacites and capabilites and enable them to partcipate in society as mature and responsible individuals; 3) providing the opportunity for children and young people to meet in order to develop social networks,friendships and apeergroup. |

Para 1.20 | PLANT has been successful in running a regular support network for home educated families in Conwy and the surrounding areas. Grant applications have been successful to offer a number of sporting activities at low cost for local families, along with increasing the sporting and STEM equipment available at the group. This has ensured that all home educated families have the opportunity to access high quality educational equipment. The grants have also ensured that PLANT has been accessible to all families regardless of their financial situation. |

Para 1.21 | The trustees are pleased with the financial position of the charity for this period. Grant funding from 22/23 was planned for delivering sporting sessions over two financial years and with further grant funding for a STEAM project this has allowed PLANT to deliver a number of activities and increase its resources and ensuring that donation income can be used for future years for hall hire if further grant funding is not forthcoming. |
