Ruth Morris, one of the trustees, oversees the day to day running of Th8 P8ntry. The trustees work together to gnable the smooth running of the ch8rlty. The Pantry uses the policles and statutory requirements ofthe main school, and we work within the guidelines of the local government. The trustees give their time voluntarSly and have received no renumeration or other benefits other than for their roles withing th& school.

W8 have many children with additional needs in our mainstream classes and w8 also have a r@source base attached tothe school where we have children with 8 variety of complex ne8ds, all of whom have benelitted from The Pantry. We have many dllferent 8g8 groups that have made use of The Pantry including young families to older generations in the communlty that have visited and make use ofthe shop. undettak.en for thepubljGb_enefi.t in We have run workshops in The P8ntry with parents and Children. to cook meals then sit down at a table th8y have laid and eat the meals they h8ve prepared together. W8 h8V8 included all age groups in the school to participate ensuring that the healthy eating message is getting 8eross to everyone. Staff ofthe 9chool, parents, children and other members of our extended community have helpedto run th8 shop. For the pgrents, this will give them skills and confidence to take the le8p into the workforce and return to work or find thelr first job in m8ny c8ses. The children have gained many life skills a5 well os learning Maths, Literacy and Science through h81ping in the shop and participating in he81thy eating cook8ry workshops. dd.ition.a.I dRtail&o£obiooti We have racruited 3 new parentigr8ndparent volunteers this year who have been a groai help in the day to day running of th8 shop, and we are extremely grateful. Through volunteerlng 8nd attending courses they have gained confidence and skllls to go out and start new ventures for th8mselv85 and for some it has given them a reason to leave the house asthey have now retired.

Achievements and performance Summer torm 23."We began ourloumey into opening The P8ntry in May. Staffand children attended 8 food drlve at Asd8 where we recelved over 26 boxes of food from customers. Children ofthe school helped to get Th8 Pantry ready by helping to decorate, place stock and think about how we would use The P8ntry b8sid88 the payas you feelshop. Our customer base was Slowly growing. and word of mouth was helping to encourage people in. Classes were usingThe Pantry for their cooking and healthy e8ting sessions. Theie were also cooking sessions for parents and children to work together to make healthy meals. The school choir were invSted to attend g Ioc81 superstore at Christmas to fundralse forThe Pantry which w8S 8 huge success. and the moneywas then spent In the store on stocking Tha Pantry. Spring term 24.. Our coffee and c8tch-up sessions were proving invaluable with parents 88 they were beginning to form re18tionships with each other and bocame 8 SUPPOrt network for each other. We had regular visits at sessions from outside agencies such as the school nurse, citlzens advice, educationel psychologists, and representatives from local councll. Workshops were in full swing 8nd both p8rents and children were benef itting from the healthy eating recipes. Financial review rity The total cash atthe bank 99 of 30th October 2024 was £11.110.45 in unrestricted funds. The main financial risk to the charity is loss of funding from the council and other sources. The donations received forthe bags of shopping does help to S88 us through.
