Para 1.17 | The object of the CIO, to be carried out for the public benefit in Aberkenfig and the surrounding area is : to provide or assist in the provision of facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation or other leisure time occupation of individuals who have need of such facilities by reason of their youth, age, infirmity or disability, financial hardship or social circumstances with the object of improving their conditions of life. |

The Aberkenfig Welfare Hall and surroundings are in constant use for amateur sports and recreational activities provided by a variety of local clubs (for all ages) and include, but are not confined to: A bowling club, history and art societies, dance and ballet clubs, karate, judo and tai chi clubs, wellbeing groups, a bonsai club and children’s parties. |
