O en Letter from the CEO p

DANIEL STEVENSON

CEO, AVP Stoke

We recognise that times have been exceptionally difficult for all of us and that sometimes, it has been hard to ask you for more, when you continue to give so generously.

2025 has made our vision clearer than ever. We are committed to deepening our impact, broadening our reach, and continuing to alleviate poverty in ways that uplift our community.

Dear Supporters, Volunteers, and Friends,

As we’re now almost five months into 2025, I want to take a moment to reflect on the incredible journey we've had over the past two years, and extend my warmest wishes for the rest of the year.

Officially registering as a charity in 2023, we built on the work that we had done to date. We expanded our reach, and formed new partnerships that we hope will benefit our community for years to come.

We have exciting plans in store, including events, social gatherings and more.

None of this would be possible without the dedication and generosity of people like you.

Your contributions—whether through cash, items, or sharing on social media —are the foundation upon which we build our success. From the bottom of my heart, thank you.

Warmest wishes,

Together, we made a tangible difference in the lives of many, proving that when we come together, we can achieve the extraordinary.

Despite the funding levels of the charity being inconsistent and unpredictable, we have simply worked with our partners to make the most of the resources available.
