Achievements and performance 2025
South Leeds Welcome Centre have enjoyed a brilliant year as a charity. Throughout 2025, we have provided more than 17,000 meals to our local community, either onsite in our café or at festivals. We were delighted to participate once again in the Hunslet Rugby Foundation Festival, delivering our food service to attendees and engaging with the local community.
Over the year, we have also welcomed Slimming World into our centre for several months, providing a supportive space for members to meet and work towards their goals. Thousands of young children and adults have passed through our doors during 2025, as we continue to work closely with our partners at Hunslet Rugby Foundation and Belle Isle Senior Action, providing a regular meal service to both organisations.
Our facilities have hosted children’s parties, social services meetings, schools’ meetings, and baby showers. In addition, we run Youth Clubs and senior breakfast mornings every week with Hunslet Rugby Foundation on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays respectively. We also hosted Kicking For Grassroots, a local organisation in running their Easter, Summer and Christmas activities across 28 days.
We are proud of the achievements and impact of 2025 and look forward to building on these successes into 2026.
