Charity law applicable to charities in Englandwales requires the Board of Trustees to prepare financial statements for each fll)ancial year which gives a true and fair view of the state of affairs of the ChaTity and of the surplus or deficit of the Charity for thai period. In prepaTing those financial statements the Board of Trustees have: Sel¢cted suitable accounting policies and applied them consistently.
