In the period covered by this report these included use for Yog4 T'ai Chi and Art classes, a Wuvers group, the Linton Brownies, P￿ISh Council meetings, Linton & District History So¢iety lectures. Church mectillgs, as a walking ¥roup mecting point, birthday parties, christening and fiEncral gatherings, ¢olTcc mornings. the conununity lunch lub, t quiz & pudding ev¢ning, and exhibition of photogrdphs entttled Linton Now & Th￿L Thc b￿1 is also hired for use as a Polling Station. e Hall is the venue for regular commufjity evcllts organtsed by the Colljmittee including Itve D]usic & theatrc shows, some of which are supported bv Arts Alxve. To raise additional funds the Committee, wilh ihe help of many volunteers, provided breakfasts at the village hall and a tea and cakc tent at the annuxI Linton Music Festival over 3 days in July at thc kind invitation of thc Fcstival comm&ttee as well as tea and cake at tbe Summer Sessions evenL held by the Alma Inn ttself in Scptember. Of the Nct Income of £1.334 for the full ycar, £1,134 arose before th¢ Transfer of Funds froffj Lillton Village Hall Collllntttee (Cbarity 520967) in Junc 2024 and £200 arose after the tt2nsfcr and bef¢)re 31" October 2024. The Encome & Expendttur¢ of previous years ending 31" Octobu was rqK)rted to the Charity Commission by Linton Village Hall Committec (Char&ty 520967). Vle attached Accounts show the distinction between Generdl Reserves (held to meet thc generdl operating expenses of the hall on a daY-t{￿Y basis) and the Property Rcfurbishm¢nt Fuud (beld for the maintenance of and improvements to the Hall). At 3 1ST October 2024 the legal ownership of the Hall remained with Lirkton Parish Coullcil pending transfeT of ownership to the Charity being approved by the 12nd Registry. Beneficial Ownership of the Hall Is vested in the Charity (and in carlicr years in Lill￿n Villagc Hall Committee- Charity 520967).
