Around 200 children take part in the tournament. Alongside that we host a family fun day with bouncy castles, DJ, hot food and fun games for children and their families to enjoy. October 2024 saw us host our second annual Halloween Party which was attended by over 120 people from the local area. The party included a buffet, DJ and party games with prizes. Achievements and Performance
| SORP reference | ||
|---|---|---|
| Summary of the main achievements of the charity, identifying the difference the charity’s work has made to the circumstances of its beneficiaries and any wider benefits to society as a whole. |
Para 1.20 | Our charity has supported over 300 children and young people directly through supporting local grassroots football. With our donations those teams have been able to buy the kits and equipment necessary to allow their members to continue to engage. We have also paid ‘subs’ for those families unable to afford them. We also support individuals and families by assisting financially when they are unable to fund school trips, trips with their teams, a weekly shop or clothing. Reddish benefits hugely from the efforts of this charity as we support those affected by things like bereavement and financial hardship. Our large food donations to the local foodbank for example allows us to support those most in need. |
