Welcome to all attending and thank you. President of Fishersgate 2. Minutes from last AGM sl8ned. Brent Pettit 3. Chairman's Report: Brent Pettit Thank you all for attending and a massive thank you to all that have helped, volunteered, managed. coached, assisted, helped with goa15 and in general helped and supported the club throughout this anniversary year. There have been a mix of results across the teams. and it's been great to be able to see so manv young people enjoy the game and develop, both on and off the pitch. IVS been a testing time for Some teams, With new players and some new managers/coache5 taking on team5 and fully embracing the task ahead. This club is now completlng 50 years of offering football to the local community and there are many stories from past players and volunteers that proves that the club has achieved a fair and safe environment for all. We aim to continue to offer the best we can for all members and this year is the first we have introduced female only teams to the club. With the hard work and dedication from Vice Chairman Chrisjoslin we now have a Women'steam who have been training each week and playing retreational football in tournaments. We welcome them to the club and wish them all success in the future and hope that like manv players before them they enjoy football with Fishersgate Flyers FC. We also welcome our new Ulls Girls football team whowere established at anotherclub but have now
moved over to FishÈrsgate to play competitively in the SONGFL. Things were not as they hoped at the other club and FishersEate Flyer5 were attractive to them to move over. This season we are seeking new volunteers to help with the club to provide a safe enjoyable environment for all our members. If there is anyone willing to volunteer we would welcome you all and hope that you too will enjoy the reward of seeing 50 many happy faces that enjoy the football within the club. Every season we have a turnover Df volunteer5 and this unfortunately 15 the nature of football and volunteers, All volunteers are welcome and the club will as always cover the cost of any training that is required to ensure that volunteers and the club are compliant to the governing bodies. Thank you to the volunteers that we have and to those that have stepped down thi5 year. Thank you to John Orkney who helped the club organise the fixtures each week, through tough times of many postponed games and re-arranging games and also for the major part that he did to bring organi5ation to many things behind the Scenes. John was also instrumental in implementing charity Status to the club which will assist the club in going forward and giving the club more strutture and the chance to tap into much needed funding and gift aid, John worked hard to get the club to take on Victoria Park and we will look for someone to take on that batten, when the local council allows us to progress. We also thank Simon Arthur IU15sl who for many years managed a team and moves on knowing that he will have impatted the lives of players to help them better themselves as players and people. Also. to Aaron IU14sl who took on the team when Rabb left to help and he completed all the training to ensure the players got the best we could offer. Even when Aaron's son did not play, he would without doubt be there to make sure the others did not miss out. Well done to all that, as member5 of the club displayed to all that Fishersgate Flyers 15 a great club to be part of. As we go into the new season we are looking at reducing the workloads on all volunteers to ensure that things run smoothly and with less stre55 and work for our volunteers. Also with big spends this season such as additional kits to celebrate the 50 year5 and pitch fees increasing we will have to discuss a rise in registrationlmembership fees.
